Case Study

Mr. Distler taught Computer Forensics at Sheridan College in one of the Investigation courses involving a detailed analysis of hard-drive collecting procedures, chain of custody, and the safe and secure principles and software used to copy hard-drives and access data anywhere on the hard-drive quickly and efficiently. Software utilized from different levels of the forensics process included: FTK Forensics Toolkit, Autopsy, Caine, Maltego, and DOS/Linux.
